Update 21.02., 16:45:
In the meantime, the ver.di union has informed us that it expects a low level of strike participation. We are therefore currently assuming that there will only be minor traffic restrictions.
As soon as new information is available, we will inform you here!
The trade union ver.di has called another warning strike for employees of Jena's local public transport and JES Verkehrsgesellschaft for tomorrow Thursday, February 22. As a result, considerable restrictions are to be expected in local public transport in Jena and the Saale-Holzland district between midnight and midnight.
Passengers are asked to be prepared for travel disruptions. Schools in the city of Jena and the Saale-Holzland district have already been informed about the strike and the resulting disruptions to local transport services.
üNo statement can currently be made about the extent of the traffic restrictions based on the information currently available from the ver.di trade union. A complete suspension of operations cannot be ruled out.
As far as possible, we will keep passengers informed of the latest developments at www.stadtwerke-jena.de/nahverkehr.
