Students at Friedrich Schiller University Jena and Ernst Abbe University Jena will receive the Germany Semester Ticket from the winter semester 2024/2025. The way to get your Deutschlandsemesterticket is shown below in an overview.

How to get your Deutschlandsemesterticket

Access the Deutschlandsemesterticket via the VMT website. You will then receive an e-mail with the subscription number. Together with your date of birth, this is used for verification in the MeinJena app to recieve your Deutschlandsemesterticket.

Add the ticket using your subscription number and date of birth.

If you are not yet signed to the MeinJena app, you will be asked to log in/register at this point.

The Deutschlandsemesterticket is displayed as a barcode and is only valid in combination with an official photo ID. Please check your mobile ticket before the start of your journey.
