Based on the preparation of a municipal heat plan by the city of Jena, the municipal utilities are already developing concrete concepts as to which areas of the city could be supplied with green district heating via a heat network in the future and from when.
This planning has not yet been completed. However, the map below provides interested homeowners with an initial overview of which districts currently appear suitable for a district heating supply - be it through integration into the existing district heating network or the construction of a local heating network in the district.
The technical feasibility and, above all, the timetable for the connection are currently still being examined for the individual neighborhoods. Depending on the progress of the planning, the map will be further updated and supplemented in the coming months.
Homeowners who are interested in a district heating connection for their building can already register now. This supports us in our planning and gives us the opportunity to keep you up to date on the next steps.
