Concerns bus lines 16, 28, 42, 43/43A and bus lines 424, 425, 426, 430/431


From Monday, February 5, 2024, the following timetable changes will apply to bus routes 16, 28, 42, 43/43A of Jena's local transport system and bus routes 424, 425, 426, 430/431 of JES Verkehrsgesellschaft:

Ziskauer Tal: The bus routes 16, 424, 425 and 426 are once again running through the Ziskauer Tal. This is associated with timetable adjustments on the corresponding lines.

Cospeda:  A new stop Cospeda, Am Windknollen will be served in Cospeda. This is served by the following bus lines:

  • Line 16 (direction Lützeroda)
  • Line 424 (direction Dornburg and Jena, bus station)
  • Lines 425 and 426 (direction Stiebritz)

Transfer from line 16 to line 424 in the direction of Dornburg at the stop Cospeda, Am Windknollen. In the direction of Jena, transfer at the stop Cospeda, Im Wasserlauf. 

The previous stop in Cospeda will be renamed Cospeda, Im Wasserlauf for better differentiation.


Jena, Hautklinik stop: This stop will be renamed Jena, Erfurter Straße.
Lines 43/43A and 430/431: The journeys between Jena, Busbahnhof and Jena, Kunitz, which run via the Jena, An der Eule stop, will operate as line 43A in future to make it easier to distinguish between them. The journeys via the Jena, Saalepark stop will continue to operate as line 43.
