Timetable changes after the Christmas vacations: Bus routes 471 and 470

After the Christmas vacations, JES Verkehrsgesellschaft buses will be running on route 471 from Monday, January 8, 2024 according to a new timetable. The route of the buses between Stadtroda and Quirla now runs via Tissa and Ulrichswalde on both the outward and return journeys. Previously, the return journeys for schoolchildren were made via the longer and more time-consuming route, the so-called "Tälerdörfer“".
In addition, the 470 line coming from Hermsdorf also ends in Quirla during the current „construction site winter break“. With the resumption of construction work in the 2nd construction phase (Quirla - Stadtroda), probably at the beginning of February, line 470 on the section „Hermsdorf – Quirla“ will be shortened unchanged, as there is no suitable detour route available.
