Application Pet Keeping

Small animals such as ornamental fish, budgies, hamsters, etc. may be kept without permission. The number, type and accommodation of the animals may not lead to a nuisance to neighbors or to an impairment of the rental property.

Any other form of keeping animals, especially dogs and cats, must be approved by the landlord. The keeping of dangerous animals is prohibited.

 

Tenant data

I / we plan to acquire the following animal / animals and apply for a permit to keep them in the above mentioned apartment:

 

The dog may only be acquired after the permit has been issued. After acquisition of the dog, the following documents have to be submitted within 4 weeks:

  • Liability insurance of dog owner

  • Registration of the dog with the city of Jena (certificate)

Note: If the evidence is not submitted, the permit is not effective.
