Stadtwerke employees donate new bench for Winzerla

Gift for the Winzerla neighborhood: the employees of Stadtwerke Energie Jena-Pößneck are financing a bench that the residents of the district have been longing for with this year's New Year's donation. At the company's New Year's reception, the employees donated a sum of 1,271 euros to support a charitable project in the neighborhood of their headquarters in Rudolstädter Straße, in keeping with long-standing tradition.

Tina Schnabel from Corporate Communications at Stadtwerke Jena presented a box with the collected money and a symbolic mini bench to district mayor Friedrich Wilhelm Gebhardt (right) and Markus Mess from the Winzerla district office today. Together they will ensure that the new bench is installed at its location in Oümaritzer Straüe by spring and will be maintained and cared for over the next five years.
