District heating interruption in large parts of Jena-Nord

Due to urgently needed repair work on the district heating network, the heat supply in large parts of Jena-North will be interrupted on Wednesday, June 26. Stadtwerke Energie Jena-Pößneck asks for your understanding that customers will have to do without hot water and heating from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m..
Affected are all remotely supplied households in the following streets:

- Dornburger Straße
- Emil-Höllein-Platz
- Fritz-Kalisch-Straße
- Friedrich-Wolf-Straße
- Gneisenaustraße
- Kösener Straße
- Leipziger Straße
- Lerchenfeld
- Lützener Straße
- Merseburger Stra&sz;e
- Naumburger Stra&sz;e
- Nollendorfer Stra&sz;e
- Robert-Blum-Straße
- Scharnhorststraße
- Spitzweidenweg
- Stifterstraße
- Thomas-Mann-Straße
- Weißenfelser Straße
- Zeitzer Straße
Stadtwerke Jena Netze is replacing worn fittings and house connections in the area of Leipziger Straße. To carry out this work, the main supply line from the power station in Winzerla to Jena-Nord must be interrupted, resulting in this major supply interruption. The residential areas North 2 and North 3 will continue to be supplied by the biogas plant in Zwätzen in the meantime. Depending on the weather conditions and the actual decrease in heat, however, restrictions in the supply of hot water and heating are also possible in these areas.
