Where modern housing can be found today, once the millwheels were turning. A distributary of the Saale flowed through the area east of the city walls, which was called the „Mühllache“ and powered several mills. The two new buildings with a total of 32 apartments, which were completed in 2015, were designed by renowned Bauhaus architects and combine modern architecture with southern charm.

Simple facades and floor-to-ceiling windows recall the filigree elegance of Italian palazzi. The generously proportioned 2-, 3- and 4-room apartments offer singles, couples and families a quality of living that makes you feel comfortable - with living spaces ranging from 56 to 100 m².

Comfort at a high level - that is the program here: Large windows allow light and sun to enter the openly designed apartments with balcony. The rooms are equipped with underfloor heating, which does not only create a cozy living environment, but also leaves a lot of free space for individual designs. All floors are accesible barrier free thanks to elevators. Additional to each flat, it is possible to rent a parking space.  

 

Living

Two new residential buildings with 32 units are constructed right on the site where the Fürstenmühle, powered by the water of the Mühllache, already stood in 1316. They are close to the centre, but still in a quiet location. 

Both the historic market place as well as the floodplain of the river Saale that invites to walk, cycle or run are only some few walking minutes away. Tram and busstops are located nearby.
