The impulse region Erfurt-Weimar-Jena-Weimarer Land invites you to an exchange format in cooperation with Stadtwerke Jena.

Questions about how exactly the municipal energy transition can succeed are currently the subject of various research projects and pilot projects. Together with representatives from the energy sector, local politics and the Weimarer Land, Apolda and Jena economic development agencies, the impulse region would like to exchange ideas at an energy lunch.

The Stadtwerke Energie Jena-Pößneck will contribute their suggestions and experiences for district solutions in rural areas in a presentation. Ingo Müller, team leader in the field of renewable energies and generation, will provide information about the project. Sören Rost, Managing Director of Wohnungsgesellschaft Apolda mbH, will address the question of future heat supply in the housing industry in his presentation. The main focus will be on the associated challenges facing the players. Alexander Römer was the last person to be won over for the exchange format. As project manager of the Decarbonization Competence Centre at the Thuringian Energy and GreenTech Agency (ThEGA), he would like to give an insight into the various funding programmes for municipalities and businesses. What is funded, how much is the funding, what needs to be taken into account when applying. These are questions that we want to answer.

The impulse region Erfurt, Jena, Weimar and Weimarer Land invites you to this event on 20.03.2024 from 14:00 to 17:45 at the Hotel am Schloß in Apolda. Participation in the event is free of charge. All program items and further information on the speakers can be found on the event website.
