Competitions at the "Jena swimming paradise" pick up speed

The new „Schwimmparadies Jena“ is all about sporting competition: on Saturday, 24 February 2024, the sports swimming hall will host the Thuringian Long Distance Championships, organized by WSG Lobeda e.Swimming enthusiasts can look forward to exciting competitions in a state-of-the-art environment from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m..

Please note that on this day (February 24) the 50-metre sports pool is reserved exclusively for competitions. Therefore, no public swimming is offered. However, the activities in the small teaching pool will remain unaffected and will take place as planned.

In addition, the Central German Lifeguard Championships of the DRK regional associations of Thuringia and Saxony are scheduled for April, as well as the Special Olympics Thuringia in October.
