Good for the neighborhood

Our new tenants in the Smart Quarter at Ziegesarstrasse 19 include the physiotherapy practice „PHYSIO-Z19“ since March.

Antje Kamutzki has been a self-employed physiotherapist since 1993. She moved her practice from its first location, the Ärztehaus on Erlanger Allee, to Salvador-Allende-Platz when the Ärztehaus was sold and repurposed. Since March, the Jena native has been a happy tenant at Ziegesarstra&l;e 19, to which the new practice owes its name. 

Holistic approach

The former competitive swimmer Antje Kamutzki always wanted to do something with people and has never regretted for a second that she chose to become a physiotherapist. „I would do it again and again“, she says, looking very satisfied. It is important to her to take a holistic approach to her patients: „I want people to be well. We physiotherapists may not be able to heal, but we can help our patients to manage their everyday lives better.â

Broad range of treatments

Numerous further training courses are necessary for this. Together with her staff, five physiotherapists and two receptionists, Antje Kamutzki offers numerous therapies ranging from classic physiotherapy and respiratory therapies, electrotherapy and ultrasound treatments to lymph drainage and CMD treatments. Six therapy rooms are available in the bright, friendly practice, as well as a large gym for rehabilitation sports, which is covered by many health insurance companies.

Physiotherapist wanted

At the moment, Antje Kamutzki is looking for new staff, as a colleague will soon be retiring. Qualified applicants are welcome to contact her directly. She and her employees have settled in well in the new practice premises. „The move to the Smarte Quartier in the immediate vicinity of the clinic“, says Antje Kamutzki, „was a good decision. Most of the patients have moved with us, and new ones are constantly arriving.“ You can feel that there is a pleasant atmosphere in the practice, both in the way patients are addressed and among colleagues. They were allowed to design their own treatment room according to their individual wishes. „After all, the employees should also feel comfortable at work, says Antje Kamutzki.
