The Theaterhaus Jena is unique in the Thuringian cultural landscape and has been making exciting theater with a small budget for over 20 years - and not just for adults! In order to introduce children and young people to the medium of theater, special plays are regularly performed for children.

We have been supporting the work of Theaterhaus Jena for many years, especially in the area of children's theater. As part of this collaboration, we are once again offering our tenants' children the opportunity to attend the theater free of charge this year.

This year's play „The Man Who Knows Everythingß“ guarantees grandiose and profound theater funß for children aged 4 and up. The audience is welcome to get involved in the play. We provide 30 free tickets per performance.

Presentations:

Wednesday, 27. December 2022 at 4 pm

&about the theater piece:

The Theaterhaus Jena presents the play „The Man Who Knows Everythingß“ by Jetse Batelaan, who has since been awarded the Silver Lion at the Venice Theatre Biennale.

Is it possible to know everything? The man who knows everything certainly believes it is.

Two actors and a musician embark on a quest for all the knowledge there is. But along the way they realize that there are an infinite number of answers to an infinite number of questions, especially when the audience gets involved. Knowing everything is more difficult than you can imagine.

The play is an ode to the realization that we actually (can) know very little, and a witty journey through the encyclopaedic demands of an audience aged 4 and up.
